Area Operator Payouts
When a zone is profitable, Area Operators are entitled to 80% of available post-expense funds. If there is profit available on the following dates, it will be distributed accordingly:
The 1st & 15th of every month Note: profit will be very low in the summer & in the first 2-3 months of operations. Additionally, the dates falling around Winter/Spring breaks will also probably be low-profit just due to a naturally-lowered demand for tutoring services. Please take note of the content on the righthand side of the page about why you shouldn't "cash out" & spend all of the money you earn! The beautiful thing about True Tutor is that it's impossible to go into debt unwillingly. The only time you'd fall into the negatives is if you voluntarily decide to pay for a marketing campaign with outside-sourced/self-funded money. |
There are no exceptions to this policy (except for when there is no available profit, of course). However, per policies stated in various agreements & contracts, it may be smart to hold on to some funding before cashing it out for personal use.
For example: *Active Transactions, in which refunds may have to be issued for one of various reasons. 80% of the refund is to be covered by the Area Operator if the profit of the transaction in question has already been distributed to the Area Operator. *Marketing expenses, which are generally at the sole financial responsibility of the Area Operator *Marketing Associate bonuses, which are to be 80% covered by the Area Operator (e.g. $32.00 is paid by the operator to the marketing associate for a $40.00 bonus). Generally, these will be able to be paid for via a deduction from the next/upcoming payout; however, True Tutor does not offer credit lines/loans if funding isn't available (if there isn't already $32 to take from). |
