Zero Tolerance & Expectations | True Tutor
At True Tutor, LLC, our prospective employees must agree to our Diversity Pledge three times prior to receiving approval for employment & authorization to begin work. Upon filling out a job application, attending a mandatory training meeting, and signing an employment contract, our tutors/tutors in training must signal agreement to the inclusion terms stated in our Pledge. True Tutor will immediately review employees that violate this statement for termination and/or long-term suspension. Employees that complain about being paired with a student due to their race, origin, religion, gender, or sexual orientation (or employees that ask that their students fall under certain criteria in regards to these identities/expressions) will also be reviewed for termination and/or long-term suspension.
Families that believe any True Tutor employee is violating our statement are strongly encouraged to submit a claim through the Feedback function of their Member Portal (alternatively, they may directly email our support team at owners@yourtruetutor.com).
True Tutor will NOT necessarily honor requests made by families/customers that are seeking a tutor based on their race, origin, religion, or sexual orientation. Just like we value the diversity and unique identities & expressions offered by the families and students we serve, True Tutor also values the uniqueness of each individual tutor/employee. True Tutor is an industry-leading equal opportunity employer, ensuring that our management & tutoring teams are diverse and full of unique opinions, expressions, and perspectives.
We welcome questions, comments, concerns, & feedback!
